CEMETERY AND CREMATORIUM CHAPELS

We offer our "Celebration of Life" cremation services at selected locations throughout Melbourne and Victoria. The variety of the chapels meets the needs of our diverse community and with appropriate colours and furnishings they are warm and tasteful.

Most of the chapels have facilities for refreshments either adjoining them or close by which is an important consideration for many.

The chapels have many facilities and options which include:-

  • Fully furnished with various seating capacities.
  • Fully air conditioned.
  • Sound systems to play your personal cd's or tapes for your individual music choices.
  • Varied time frames for chapel use and extended chapel times if requested.
  • Audio recording of the service.

  • Religious and non-religious settings.

As you can see, the array of facilities is very comprehensive and available to all. Some of the chapels do not have all of the items noted above so please be sure to ask if you have particular requirements for your service.

In addition to the above Southern Cross Funerals will assist with flags and personal items such as photographs placed on the coffin during the service.

The chapels are also available for services prior to a burial.
